Life is better with connections. Take a look at some of mine.
-
I was retained as an Interim Chief People Officer by the private-equity owners to manage the integration of five acquired businesses operating in unified communications, telecommunications networking, cyber security and enterprise-level MS Teams deployments across the UK.
I helped form the new executive team, took responsibility for all people strategy and activity and contributed as an ExCo member to develop and deploy a turnaround strategy in line with the owner’s expectations for exit as well as building and HR organisation fit for the future of the business. I’m particularly proud of my work in stabilising and engaging the previously disorientated and disillusioned workforce.

I hold two Independent Non-Executive Director appointments. One is with Aspire, where I support and direct the commercial services arm of a dynamic local charity working to change lives through social enterprise and employment support. The other is Xytal Healthcare Management where I work with the executive team of a business supplying process and leadership consulting services to the primary care sector of the UK national health service.
I’m most proud of my work with both organisations in facilitating new, exciting organisational growth strategies and supporting the executive teams in executing those strategies.

I was engaged as Interim Chief Human Resources Officer by the Private Equity owners of a financial services firm offering trading, investment, wealth management and asset management services through regulated entities across the UK, Middle East and Asia.
I held responsibility for all Human Resources, Internal Communications and Government Relations strategy and operations for the business and took particular accountability for forming a new executive team to develop and deploy a dynamic growth strategy. I’m very proud of my achievement in rapidly building an HR organisation to facilitate business transformation after my departure. .

I was employed as the Vice President of Global Talent Management by CDK Global, the market leading ($3bn) provider of enterprise management technology to the retail automotive industry. I held responsibility for Recruitment, L&D, Talent Planning, OD, D&I, Communications and CSR for 10,000 employees and a team of 40 HR professionals around the world.
On my watch, the business was spun out of its original owner, divested several divisions, acquired some new ones and was taken private again giving me huge experience of corporate change. I’m really proud of the work I did in delivering high quality leadership development and succession planning for a business operating across most of the developed world.
